Process

All products are cut, sewn and riveted in our workshop at 64 Sherbrook Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We craft our products in small batches ranging from 4-8, with the exception of a few made to order items. This ensures the thoroughness and attention to detailed required to make quality hand made products. We believe in timeless designs that age well and won’t expire with ever-changing technological trends. Each design is put through rigorous field testing (Thanks to our friends) to ensure ruggedness and practicality of use.

Materials

The materials used to construct our products are all derived from natural fibres that allow the products to age gracefully as they meet head on with the elements. With the appropriate care* your product will act as unique form of documentation for your daily excursions and travels.

We do our best to source all of our materials from suppliers who are proud of their process and conscientious towards environmental and labour laws. We are continually striving to evolve and better our practices as we delve further into our industry. Please don’t hesitate to inquire if you have any questions or concerns.

Metals

The solid brass and copper used in our rivets and hardware not only provide strength and durability but will oxidize and and darken with use.

Cloth

The cotton duck canvas and twills both dry and waxed will gain unique fades and creases throughout their lifespan. The cotton allows for the application and renewal of your own waterproofing waxes throughout its lifespan.

Leather

Full grain vegetable tanned leather embraces the most durable portion of the animals hide while featuring all the nicks and blemishes that animal accumulated throughout its life span. We employ particular care when choosing the correct weight and portion of the hide for each product. The variance in shade and grain consistency from product to product is what makes each product unique.
